This Work Was Always Inevitable

The path that led here was not linear. But looking back, it was always pointing in the same direction.

It began in global public health — working at Save the Children UK, witnessing firsthand what happens to women and families when support systems fail. What access to knowledge can change. What its absence can cost.

It deepened through loss. When my sister experienced a stillbirth at eight months, I found myself asking the questions that change a person: Were there warning signs? Could better preparation have changed what happened? Those questions did not leave me. They became the foundation of a mission.

They deepened further through my own miscarriage. Pregnancy loss, I discovered, is surrounded by silence. Women grieve quietly. They continue functioning while carrying grief that few people see. I learned — not from a textbook but from lived experience — that maternal wellness must extend beyond the physical.

As a researcher, I listened. For my Executive MBA at Imperial College London, I conducted in-depth interviews with women who had experienced pregnancy loss. They described feeling invisible — not only during loss but before and after it. The research confirmed what I already suspected: women are not being supported early enough, comprehensively enough, or honestly enough.

As a mother of four, I lived it. Motherhood brought immense joy. It also brought the understanding that only comes from inside the experience — the exhaustion, the identity shift, the invisible load, the desperate need for community and knowledge that arrives before crisis, not after.

As a founder, I built it. The Mothers' Hub. The PRS Index™. A body of published research. A speaking platform. A book. Not because these were the logical next career steps — but because no one else had built the specific combination of things that women at this intersection of prevention, faith, and community actually need.

"This work was always inevitable."

Her Journey

The story so far

Early career

Global public health

Oge began her professional life in global public health, working at Save the Children UK and the London Borough of Hackney — witnessing firsthand what happens to women and families when support systems fail.

Research

Imperial College London

For her Executive MBA, Oge conducted in-depth interviews with women who had experienced pregnancy loss. They described feeling invisible — not only during loss but before and after it. The research confirmed: women are not being supported early enough.

Personal loss

A sister's stillbirth. A personal miscarriage.

When her sister experienced a stillbirth at eight months, the questions that followed never left her. Were there warning signs? Could better preparation have changed what happened? Her own miscarriage deepened the conviction: maternal wellness must extend beyond the physical.

2019

The Mothers' Hub™ — founded

Oge founded The Mothers' Hub — a prevention-focused maternal wellness movement born through personal loss and professional experience. The community supports women through preconception, pregnancy, and motherhood.

2023

PRS Index™ — created

After identifying a critical gap in public health, Oge created the PRS Index™ — the world's first self-administered preconception readiness intelligence platform, built on nine pillars of whole-person health. US Provisional Patent pending. Trademarked in Nigeria.

2025

Peer-reviewed research published

Oge's research on non-clinical interventions in maternal wellness was published in the European Journal of Health Sciences — contributing to the growing evidence base for upstream preconception care.

Now

Still building

Today Oge speaks internationally, runs a thriving coaching and wellness practice, is developing her first book — Before You See Two Lines™ — and is advancing the PRS Index™ toward planned doctoral research. She is based in Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas, with her husband and four children.

What She Believes

The values behind the work

Honesty

The most powerful thing a woman can do is tell the truth about her own life. Everything Oge builds is founded on radical honesty — with herself and with the women she serves.

Prevention

The greatest opportunity to improve maternal outcomes exists before pregnancy. Oge's entire body of work is an argument for upstream care — preparation before crisis.

Faith

Faith is the foundation from which everything grows — the conviction that every woman is created with dignity and purpose, and that caring for the body is an act of worship.

Community

No one becomes alone. Oge builds spaces — online and offline — where women can do the real work together, held by people who understand the cost and beauty of growth.

Faith, Family & Foundation

Beyond the titles and the work, I am a wife, a mother of four, a woman of deep Christian faith, and a person who has learned some of her most important lessons not in lecture theatres but in the ordinary extraordinary moments of family life.

Faith is not a footnote in my work. It is the foundation from which everything else grows — the conviction that every woman is created with dignity and purpose, and that caring for the body is an act of worship, not vanity. I believe that faith and evidence can coexist. That prevention and prayer are not in tension. That rigorous research and deep compassion belong in the same room.
